Charles H. Lane, Jr., age 90, of Hayden, AL, was born in Hampton, Virginia on September 29, 1925 and passed away February 5, 2016. He was a retired sheet metal journeyman in Local 48 in Birmingham, AL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ida Lane; his loving wife of 56 years, Norma Lee Lane; grandson, Reggie and a great granddaughter, Ashley.
He is survived by two sons, Ronnie (Sandra) Lane and Bobby (Linda) Lane; daughter, Janice (James) Marske; four grandchildren, Tommy, Jason, Denise and Stacy; great grandchildren, Gregory, Andrew, Alex, Katie, Tabatha, Trinity and Keri; one great-great granddaughter, Sophia; many other family members and a host of friends.
Services will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel with a visitation on Sunday, Feb 7, 2016 from 1:30pm until 3:00pm; funeral service, Monday, Feb 8th, 2016 at 2:00pm followed by his burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
