Charles Frank Morgan

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ruby Morgan; his wife of 63 years, Billie Dell Morgan; and his brother, Bill Morgan.

Charles is survived by his daughter, Pamela Morgan Duvick (Todd) of Charlotte, North Carolina, and his grandchildren, Besty Duvick Sakaluk (Michael), Logan Duvick, and Christian Duvick; his sister, Jackie Morgan of Gardendale, Alabama, and his nephews, Jeff Morgan (Dawn) of Arab, Alabama, and Keith Morgan (Kathy) of Arab, Alabama.

Charles graduated from Warrior High School in Warrior, Alabama, and was a retired World Trade Sales Manager from PPG. He served in the United States Army for two years in Germany during the Korean Conflict. Charles traveled worldwide and resided in several States during his successful business career. Following retirement and the passing of his beloved wife, Billie, he moved back to his family home in Morris, Alabama. Charles was an active member of North Jefferson Church of Christ in Kimberly, Alabama and strived to live his life daily as Christ would have him.

Funeral services for Charles will be held on Saturday, April 5, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, Alabama, with burial to follow at Oakwood Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, April 5, from 1:00-2:00 PM.

Pallbearers are Jeff Morgan, Keith Morgan, Will Morgan, Mike Felts, Terry Goza, and Ethan Peters.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional home care provided to Charles during his illness for the last few months. The decicated team of Lori and Mike Felts, Mildred Cope, Connie Cook, and Michael Parker became like family to us all and Charles loved you dearly! We would also like to express our appreciation for the exceptional nursing care provided to Charles by Hospice of Central Alabama, Birmingham.
