Charles Terry Owens, age 58 of Gardendale, AL passed away Friday, November 29th, 2013. He was a wonderful husband, father, and brother who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and June Owens. He is survived by his loving family, his wife of 31 years, Denise Owens; a son, Grant Owens; his mother, Betty Ward; brother, Bo McIlwain (Carolyn); two sisters, Vicki List (John) and Suzane Cox (Danny); and a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends. A visitation will be Sunday, December 1st, at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel from 5 until 7 PM with chapel funeral services to be held Monday at 2 PM. Rev. Roy Spears will officiate the service.
