Christopher Lee Hewitt

It is with great sorrow that we report the passing of our loving husband and devoted father Chris Hewitt. Chris passed away on March 9, 2013 at the age of 39. He is survived by his wife Katrina and his two sons Jordon (14) and Wyatt (20 months) and his daughter Paxtyn (7 months). Chris is also survived by his mother Eleanor Hewitt of Stayner, Ontario, Canada, his father Edwin “Ted” Hewitt (Pauline) of Midland, Ontario and his older brother Edwin “Ted” Hewitt of Stayner, Ontario.

Chris was an active father always ready for a camping trip with family and friends. He also enjoyed hunting in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, playing cribbage and do-it-yourself home projects.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 12th at 3:00pm – 5:00pm with a funeral service to follow immediately. The viewing and service will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071, 205-631-6252. http://www.dignitymemorial.com/
