Mrs. Garrett was very sweet and kind and had a huge heart. She would always put everyone else's needs ahead of her own. She was a loving, caring spouse and mother. She loved and enjoyed her flower garden.
Mrs. Garrett was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Louise Brown; daughter, Sharon Garrett; son, Jeffery Anthony Garrett, Sr.; and a grandson, Jeffery Anthony Garrett, Jr.
Mrs. Garrett is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Floyd Garrett; daughter, Tammy Garrett; granddaughter, Natasha (Gregory) Peek; great grandchildren, Aden Garrett, Laci Peek, and Braxton Peek.
Celebration of life services for Cora will be held at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, with a time of visitation on Saturday, March 14, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service will occur Sunday, March 15, 2020 at 2:00 PM followed by her burial at Oakwood Memorial Gardens, 2100 Moncrief Road, Gardendale, Alabama 35071.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society in honor of Mrs. Garrett.
