David D. Florence of Morris, AL passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018 at the age of 89. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather who will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Connie Florence. David is survived by his loving family, a son, Mike Florence (Diana) and his daughter, Peggy Florence; grandchildren, David Florence, James Jones, Shelly Dye (Adam), Billy Jones (Ronda), and Trina Hawkins; 14 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 31st at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel from 12:30 until 2 PM followed by graveside services at 2 PM in Moncrief Cemetery in Gardendale, Al.
