Born January 26, 1963, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2011. He was the President of the Morris City Planning Commission, a Deacon at Enon Baptist Church and a member of the Fraternal Order of Police. David retired from the Birmingham Police Department’s Tactical Unit as a sharp shooter, and was currently with the Fultondale Police Department. He was preceded in death by his parents: Charles and Frances Riddlesperger; and his brother-in-law, David Griffis. David is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Betty Riddlesperger; 2 sons: Hunter and Morgan Riddlesperger; 1 sister: Joyce Griffis; 2 brothers: Johnny Riddlesperger (Teresa) and Danny Riddlesperger; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be held at Enon Baptist Church on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at the church on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at 1:00 pm, with interment in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
