She was preceded in death by her father, Hubert Phillips and stepmother, Ellen Phillips. Donna is survived by her husband David, Son Craig (Stacey Holliman, daughter Erin (Kevin) Sanders, three grandchildren, Jordy, Brayden and Skylar, sister Shelia Evans, nieces and nephews (Holliman's and Evans').
Donna was born in Haleyville, then moved to Birmingham with her father, Hubert Phillips and sister Shelia. Donna is a devout Christian and spent many years active at Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Center Point. She later joined ENON Baptist Church, which has been her Spiritual and physical support and strength since her long struggle with illness began. Her laughter and sense of humor were gifts to all that knew her.
A visitation will be held at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, located at 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071, on February 10, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm.
The funeral service will follow at the same location from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. David Awtrey, First Baptist in Pinson presiding.
