82 years old, went to be with the Lord July 7, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Patterson; and her son-in-law, Mac Mitchell. She is survived by her daughters: Debby Silber (Paul), Janet Mitchell, and Cathy Patterson; grandchildren: Lindy Mitchell, Amanda Silber, Kristin Mitchell, Chelsea Silber, Katie Mitchell, and Jared Silber; and her sisters: Faye Gatlin, Joyce Moore, and Betty Moore. She was a member of Fultondale First Baptist Church. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff and management of Covenant Place Assisted Living for the 5 years of love and care they gave to their mother; and also would like to thank Vitas Hospice for making her last hours peaceful and pain free. Thank you also to Dr. Nolan Hudson for his concern and caring for mom’s quality of life. Visitation will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Sunday, July 8, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, July 9, 2012 beginning at 2:00 PM, officiated by Brother Gary Creel and interment in Highland Memorial Gardens following the service.
