He was preceded in death by his wife, Jan D, Scoggins and son, Scott Scoggins. He is survived by brother, Earl Scoggins; sos, Sean Scoggins (Melody ) and James Beard; daughter, Tina Scrudto (Matt); granddaughters, Destiny Hawkins (Mike) and Merri Holloway (Will); grandchildren, Holly, Alec and Alexus Scoggins, Ty and Ethan Scrudto and Regan Hawkins; great grandchildren, Mason and Madison Holloway; brother in law, Jim Windom and nephews, Eric and Curtis Windom.
A graveside service for Ernest will be held Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Cahaba Heights Baptist Church Cemetery, 3800 Crosshaven Drive, Vestavia Hills, AL 35243.
