Ernestine S. McCombs, age 98, went home to be with her Lord on May 7, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Athel F. McCombs. She is survived by her three children, Donald F. McCombs (Betty), Tommy D. McCombs (Dot), and Rena M. Bragan (Lee); six grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 10th at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel from 12:30 to service time at 2 PM. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Baptist Cemetery in Pinson, AL. Officiating is Percy Byrd, pastor of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
