He loved to enjoy fishing, feeding the birds, visiting the mountains, long walks on the beach, being a father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was a former business owner of Phillips Plumbing and Heating Company. He was known to be a simple man who enjoyed what life had to offer. He had a contagious smile and laugh that would light up any room he walked in. He loved the Lord and had a servant’s heart. He lived by the saying "Never Judge a Book by its Cover" and that was something he instilled in his children and grandchildren and his loving wife.
