

Frances Willadean Beauty Love Todd completed her earthly journey and went home to be with her Lord on November 4, 2020. She was born on December 21, 1924 in Dixiana, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-one years, Roy C. Todd, Jr., and daughter, Anita Jane (“Janie”) Rosser, and her father, Ollie Granville Love and mother, Frances Magdalene Dorman Love.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and loved caring for her family. She was selfless, had a servant’s heart and was a joy to all who knew her. Her life exemplified the virtuous woman in Proverbs 31. In later years she retired from Jefferson County Community Education, caring for the children at Pinson Rock School. Children was her first love.
She is survived by daughters Carmen T. Belcher, Morris, Alabama, Mary T. Willis (William H. “Bill”), Morris, Alabama, Rebecca Dee Gray (Bobby), Gardendale, Alabama and Toni A. Patrick (William Harry “Buddy”), Columbus, Georgia. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Sincere appreciation and gratitude is extended to North Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for superlative caregiving. Special thanks is given to Ms. Lisa Hosford, Executive Director, Zac Sanford, Director of Nursing and staff who provided care, love and protection for our mother, especially during these difficult times.
Memorial service will be held at Gardendale Ridout’s Chapel at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 8, 2020. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
In consideration of the current pandemic, we understand that some may not be comfortable to attend; therefore, we ask you to remember the family in your prayers.
