

Frederick Alexander DeLeon, age 31 of Gardendale, AL passed away to be with his Lord and Savior 0n Saturday March 1, 2025. A visitation will be held in his honor at 5:00 pm on Friday, March 7th at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A funeral will be held in his honor on Saturday, March 8th, 11:00 am at Hepzibah Baptist Church, 5329 W Renfroe Road, Talladega, AL. Pastor Chuck Oliver will officiate. Interment will follow directly after the service at Hepzibah Cemetery.
Frederick was born on February 23, 1994, in Birmingham, AL. He graduated from Oak Mountain High School in 2012. He received his CDL’s from Truck Driver Institute in 2020. Most Recently, Frederick became an aircraft mechanic at Kaiser Aircraft Industries, Inc. He absolutely loved his job and the people that he worked with. Frederick was passionate about his riding families, including the Grip Starz, Re-Vamped and MOB, Inc. When he was 18 years old, he earned the rank of Eagle Scout from Boy Scouts of America, Troop 007 in Birmingham.
Frederick loved the Lord and his devotion for Christ was evident through his daily walk and his joyous spirit and beautiful smile.
He is survived by his wife, Ashley DeLeon; his children, Ashton Wise and Alaya Wise; his parents, Lisa and Mark Riddley; sister, Genevieve DeLeon Pillen (Alexei) and a host of extended family and friends. Mr. DeLeon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Delbert and Roberta Daschner, aunt, Barbara Daschner and uncle, Ken Daschner.
Pallbearers will be Erick Daschner, Mark Riddley, Ashton Wise, James Vodosia, Alexei Pillen and Gabriel Currier.
In Lieu of flowers, his family asks that donations be made, in his honor and memory, to Adult and Teen Challenge of Alabama-Lincoln Center, 450 Drew Avenue, Lincoln, AL 35096.
