Glenn Hardage Brown

He attended Falkville High School and then enlisted in the U. S. Navy. He served in WW II in the South Pacific for 3 years and was Honorably discharged November 16,1945.

He married Stella Summerford June 22, 1947 and they moved to Birmingham Al where he worked for South Central Bell as Plant Supervisor until he retired. He filled his retirement days managing 2 farms and his cattle, especially his beloved long horns.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Mamie Brown, sister Louise Chunn, brother Gene Brown.

And survived by brother Charles Brown.

He is survived by his wife Stella Summerford Brown (75 years), brother Charles Brown,

3 Children: Glenda Browne (Tom); Kathy Livingston; Ernest Brown (Jenny), 5 Grandchildren: John Livingston (Jaimie); Patrick Browne (Jennifer); Riley Browne (Katie); Neil Brown (Erin); Morgan Brown Brasfield (Brooks).

Great Grandchildren: Maimie, John David, Hardage, Elizabeth, Parker, Finley, Everson, Mary Grace, Emmi, Maddox, Max, Trent, Cole, Alice. And many friends and family.

A visitation for Glenn will be held Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Oak wood Memorial Gardens.
