Ila Lee Edwards

Ila was a member of Gardendale First Baptist Church and she retired from Oak Knoll Manor where she served as a dietician for many years. She was a devoted and loving wife, Mother, Grandmother and great grandmother. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them and was lovingly called "Mama Lee" or "Grandmother" by her family.

Ila was preceded in death by her parents, Ross and Ellen Graham Little, her husbands, Clayton Richard Lee and Thomas Edwards; one son, Dick Lee; a daughter, Connie Augusta Lee; a brother, Ottis Little and three sisters, Polly Little, Alice Little Camp, and Verta Little Muncher.

Ila is survived by a son, Greg Lee (Sabrina); a daughter-in-law, Connie Lee; a special son, Ricky Edwards; one brother, Johnny "Sonny" Little (Nancy); one sister, Dot Little Manly, five grandchildren, Brennan Medlin (Steve), Andrew Lee (Misty), David Lee (Marybeth), Joel Douglas and Jessie Douglas; five great grandchildren, Brooks Medlin, Thomas Lee, Amelia Grace, Graham Lee, and Ames Lee, many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

A visitation for Ila will be held Monday, December 7, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel; funeral service at 11:00 AM, followed by her burial at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Mt. Olive, Alabama.
