Jack Hurst "Papa" Hawkins

Papa enjoyed hunting, target shooting and watching NASCAR races. He loves spending time with his family and spoiling his two little dogs. He was dearly loved by everyone who knew him and adored by his family.

Papa is survived by his beloved wife, Brenda Cordell Hawkins, his daughters, Samantha Hawkins Gable and Amber (Josh) Hawkins, his three precious grandchildren Kylee Gable, Kamryn Gable and Gray Hawkins. He cherished his grandchildren and never missed an opportunity to let them know how much he loved them.

Papa was preceded in death by his parents, Nellie Naomi Hurst Hawkins and Troy Ree Hawkins, his sister, Betty Ree (Hawkins) Shelton.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Ridout’s in Gardendale on August 10, 2021 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM in the Fireside Room.
