July 29, 1928 – January 20, 2014
A resident of Morris Al, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday at the age of 85. Jacqueline had a wonderful career of service as a nurse and truly loved to help others. She served her Lord faithfully through the years and lately at the Evangel Assembly of God church in Mt. Olive.
Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ida Brown; her husband of 52 years, Jack Goodwin; Children, Raymond Goodwin, Patricia Mayes, Marie Lawley; daughter-in-law, Mylinda Goodwin; a grandchild, Christy Johnson and a great-grandchild, Crystal Johnson.
She is survived by her children; Nancy Jones (Jerry), Forrest Goodwin (Mary), Jackie Goodwin (Jeanine), Ricky Goodwin (Patricia) and Virginia Southerland; 20 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Thursday, January 23 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm with a funeral service Friday at 11:00am. Interment will follow in the Bethel Cemetery, Warrior Al.
