James H. Billings, Jr. of Pinson, AL passed away on Wednesday, December 2nd, 2015 at the age of 82. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. James owned and operated Van Clothing Company for over 41 years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Virginia Billings. He is survived by his four daughters, Debbie Spitzer (Mark), Belinda Newcomb (James), Gwen Ricks (Brian), and Tammie Gober (Matthew); grandchildren, Erika, Jason, Jacob, Bradley, and Melanie; and great grandchild, Reighlaun Reaves.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel from 11 am until 12:30 pm with a graveside service to follow at 1 pm in Marvin’s Chapel Cemetery in Pinson, AL
