James Wilson Long, age 91, born January 19, 1931 passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church for 75 years. He was a Master Mason for 60 years with the Grotto Lodge. Survivors include sons Neal (Sharon) Neal and Gary (Melinda) Neal, daughter Sandra Long; grandchildren Stephanie (Amber) Parker, Megan (Chad) Frost, Anthony (Lora Lee) Long and Jon (Brittany) Long. Great grandchildren Jack Long, Anna Clare Long, Jordyn Long, Kennedy Long and Bella Parker; sisters Nell Doss and Rebecca Foster and a host of nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the Therapy Department of Magnolia Ridge, especially Terri and “Jason”. Visitation will be Thursday, February 10th 1-2 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel followed by funeral 2:00 with burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens. In Lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to Shriner’s Children Hospitals.
