James L. Wolford, age 80 of Gadsden, AL passed away on Saturday, May 14th, 2016. He was very much loved by his family and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his father, James Harold Wolford and his mother, Myrtle Wolford; a sister, Phylis Reed; and his son, James “Scooter” Wolford. He is survived by his son, John Wolford; two daughters, Terry Williams and Christy Wolford; brothers, Harold Eugene Wolford (Deloris), Donald Edward Wolford (Beverly), and Allen Henderson Wolford (Iris); his loving sister, Diane Whitt; several grandchildren; special niece, Liz Burt; and a host of other cousins, nieces and nephews.
A chapel service will be held on Tuesday, May 17th at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel at 2 PM with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Morris Cemetery in Morris, Al. Rev. Lennie Jo Carroll will officiate services.
