

Ann is survived by her devoted husband of 64 years, Ronald Grady Wright. Together, they built a beautiful life centered on family, faith, and love.
Ann was a proud and loving mother and survived by her three children: Karen (Ed) Moore, Timothy (Melissa) Wright, and Regina (Brent) Murphy. She was cherished by her six grandchildren: Blake (Katie) Moore, Brandon Murphy, Elizabeth (Jordan) Thomas, Lee (Brittany) Murphy, Jenna (Cole) Bearden, and Ben (Abby) Murphy, who will always remember her warmth, wisdom, and sweet spirit.
Ann was blessed with nine great-grandchildren: Blakely Moore, Leander Murphy, Ayble Gibson, Olivia Thomas, Remi Bearden, Caroline Thomas, Charlie Bearden, Addi Bearden, and Henry Murphy. Each one brought her immense joy, and she loved them all dearly.
Ann was a longtime member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, where she found strength in her faith and community. Janet loved cooking for her family, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who lovingly called her “Nana.”
Ann is also survived by her two loving sisters, Provy S. Richards and Barbara Lynn Salvagio, who shared in a lifetime of cherished memories and unbreakable bonds.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Dominick and Janie Salvagio.
Her legacy is one of family, love, faith, strength, kindness, and grace. Ann’s presence lit up every room she entered, and her love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Her life will be honored at a Funeral Mass held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 334 Main St, Gardendale, AL 35071, on Friday, August 1, 2025. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m.
Graveside Services will follow at Oakwood Memorial Gardens, 2029 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL 35071.
A reception will follow the graveside service and will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in the Parish Hall.
