Jimmy F. Montgomery, age 76, of Gardendale, Alabama passed away on Tuesday February 26, 2019. Jimmy was born January 13, 1943. Mr. Montgomery was the owner and operator of Wesco Inc. with 15years of service. Jimmy was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents Grady and Florence Montgomery. He is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years Ann Montgomery, his sons Frank Montgomery (Jill) and Danny Montgomery (Melissa), his brother Reed Montgomery and two sisters Charlotte Harris and Patti Phillips. Mr. Montgomery is also survived by his beloved grandchildren : Anna, Emily, Meagan, Mandy, and Davis.
A celebration of life visitation for Jimmy will be held Friday, March 1, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A celebration of life service will occur Friday, March 1, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A burial will occur at Oakwood Memorial Gardens, 2100 Moncrief Road, Gardendale, Alabama 35071.
