Jimmy Nelson Ross

Jimmy graduated from Cullman High School and proudly served our nation in the United States Air Force. He retired from Terex as a Warehouse Supervisor. He was a great mechanic and he could fix anything. He was a devoted and loving husband and brother and he loved his family dearly.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Burma Grubbs and Roy Grubbs; his father, Earl Ross; and a brother, Wayne Ross.

Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Sharon Ross; sister-in-law, Sue Ross; brother-in-law, Steve Thomas (Joni), nephews, Matt Thomas and Lenny Ross (Rosie); nieces, Heather Biles (Tim), Angela Thomas, and Sharon Eustice (Jim); several other family members and friends.

Services for Jimmy will be held Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071, with a time of visitation to begin at 1:00 PM; funeral service at 2:00 PM. He will be laid to rest in Providence Cemetery, 7300 Providence Church Road, Morris, AL 35116.
