With broken hearts, but steadfast faith in the Lord, we announce the passing of our beloved son, Tyler Franks, of Huntsville, Alabama, age 25. While our hearts grieve deeply, we trust that Tyler is now resting in the arms of his Savior.
Tyler loved the Lord and was intentional about growing closer to Him. He had a heart for discipleship and longed to walk boldly in his faith. He never missed an opportunity to pray over someone in need — whether friend, family, or even a stranger. He believed in the power of prayer and wasn’t afraid to speak life, encouragement, and truth into others.
Tyler loved his family fiercely and his friends with his whole heart. He was loyal, protective, and present. He adored his nieces and nephews and treasured every moment he spent with them.
He found peace on the water with a fishing pole in his hand and strength in the gym, always working to better himself. He loved to travel, chase adventure, and experience life fully. But one of the things that made him happiest was making others laugh. Tyler had a gift for humor — he could light up a room and bring smiles even on the hardest days.
Though strong and determined, Tyler was truly a big teddy bear. He gave the kind of hugs that made you feel safe and completely loved. Those hugs were his signature — and they will be deeply missed.
Tyler’s life was a blessing. His faith, laughter, loyalty, strength, and tender heart leave a legacy that will live on in all who knew him. Though our hearts ache, we find comfort in knowing we will see him again.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” – Matthew 25:23
