Johnnie, a resident of Birmingham, AL, went home to be with the Lord at the age of 76. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Frank and Iris Inez Hobgood and her son, Mark Stubbs. Johnnie is survived by sons, Jack Stubbs and Vance Stubbs (Sandra); daughter, Patti Harris; brother, Frank Hobgood (Sherrie); sister-in-law, Lucy Hobgood; grandchildren, Jackie Stubbs, Jr., Triston Stubbs, Michael Stubbs, Andrew Stubbs, Marcus Wertz and Katie Danielle Stubbs; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Services will be held at the Grand Old Gospel House; with a visitation, Tuesday, Oct 20th, 5pm until 7pm. Funeral service, Wednesday, Oct 21st, at 11:00am followed by her burial in Bailey Memorial Cemetery.
