Johnnie a resident of Gardendale, Al went home to be with the Lord on Christmas morning at the age of 60. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother and a member of Central Baptist Church where she faithfully served the Lord she loved so dear. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Louise Segars. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Robert J. Thomas; daughters, Jamie M. Quick, Jennifer T. Daniels (Tyler); brother, Howard Segars (Bonita); grandchildren, Ethan, Faith and Eric Quick; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
A visitation will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Sunday, Dec 29; from 12 noon until 2:00 pm with a funeral at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers he family request that donations be made in her memory to Central Baptist Church, Gardendale Alabama.
