July 22, 1960 – June 26, 2014
Johnny a resident of Tarrant, AL passed away Thursday at the age of 53. He was a loving husband and father and he would do for others before himself. He loved to spend time outdoors and to hunt and fish.
Johnny was preceded in death by his father, William Roy Pitts and he is survived by his mother, Mary E. Pitts; his loving wife of 28 years, Marilyn Pitts; son, Lee Pitts; step-daughter, Jennifer Shinn; sisters, Ann Evans and Mary Fay Loden; step grandson, Isaac Miller; many other family members and a host of friends.
Services will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Saturday, June 28th, with a visitation to begin at 11:00am, and a funeral service at 1:00pm, with burial to follow in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
