Judy Reno Woods

Judy Karen Reno Woods, 63, passed away on June 10th, 2018. She was a resident of Corner, AL. She is survived by her five children, fifteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, brother Donald Lee Reno, and loving ex-husband and eternal friend Joseph Michael “Mike” Baskin, Sr. She is predeceased by her brothers Jerry Ray Reno and Douglas Wayne Courington, and sister Reta Faye Reno Newsome. Judy, like most Reno’s, worked hard all her life and persevered. These traits were passed to her by her late father Lelus “Bay” Reno and late mother Gladys Gertrude Reno. Judy had many great stories from her childhood; there was never a dull moment. Her main focus in life was living out God’s will and living sacrificially for her family. The unconditional love she shared will be felt and remembered by family and friends for many years to come. Judy will also be remembered and respected by her colleagues and friends for her nearly 36 years with Bellsouth. Please join us as we remember her sweet, loving spirit. The viewing will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday, June 15th, and the ceremony at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 16th at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel. The address is 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. She will be laid to rest at Oakwood Memorial Gardens. Rev. Mika Marcum will officiate the service.
