Karen H. Fromhold

Karen was a member of Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church. She retired from Southern Building Code Congress International (SBCCI) after 40 years of service.

Karen is survived by her loving husband of 49 years Steven Fromhold and her son Nicholas Fromhold. Brothers, Randy Harding (Carol) and Ronnie Parnell (Linda) and many nieces and nephews. As well as many close friends and her lifelong best friend Reba Doyle.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents, James L and Johnnie Harding, her sister Donna Harding Marsh and brother-in-law Steve Marsh.

Karen loved family and was a wonderful Grandmother to her many great nieces and nephews, attending sporting events and showering them with gifts. She loved to shop, go antiquing and share her unique treasured finds with her family. Family was important to her, and she loved to plan reunions and the Harding Christmas dinner each year. She had a contagious laugh and loved to send funny cards and play practical jokes. Karen and Steve enjoyed traveling and made many wonderful trips and memories with family and friends.

A visitation for Karen will be held Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Karen will be laid to rest in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Gardendale, AL, following the services.
