Kenneth Wayne “Kenny” Dillard II passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at his home in Gardendale at the age of 49. He is survived by his daughter Katie, son Cody, fiancée Lisa Goolsby (Melanie, Maya, Megan), and brother Allen (Lydia). Kenny was employed at AkzoNobel Coatings as a maintenance mechanic for over 25 years, and served as a deacon at Beechwood Baptist Church. He was passionate about coaching youth baseball in Gardendale and umpiring with USSSA, hunting and fishing, and his children. He is proceeded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Dillard, father, Wayne Dillard, and brother, Clarence “Rocky” Dillard.
The family will receive friends and family for a celebration of his life in the sanctuary at First Baptist Church Mt. Olive on Friday, December 1, 2017, from 6:00-8:00 PM.
