Kenneth Harold Sanders, age 85, of Trafford, AL died Tuesday the 13th of January in the year of our Lord 2015. Kenneth “Red” Sanders, was a son of Dewey and Mattie Burns who preceded him in death as well as a son, Christopher Sanders. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Evelyn Sanders; three children, James Sanders, Karen Johnson, and Eric Sanders. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Also, his brother, Erskine Sanders, from the state of Washington.
Kenneth “Red” Sanders was mayor of his native community of Trafford for 24 years and had great love of its people and its history. He had much passion for improving the quality of life and services available to its people. There are no services planned at this time.
