Larry Joe Hodges

Larry J. Hodges, age 58 of Fieldstown, AL passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2013. Larry is survived by his loving family, his wife of over 33 years, Tammy Hodges; sons, Terry Hodges (Lindsey) and Steven Hodges (Amanda); his daughter, Tiffany Dozier (Adam); his grandchildren, Samantha Hodges, Devin Hodges, Ashley and Scott; brothers, William Hodges (Cheryl), James Hodges (Linda), and Lee Hodges (Becky); sisters, Ruby Price (Paul), Margaret Tingle (Ronnie), Mary Crowley (Mitchell), and Barbara Crocker (Bobby); a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Larry was very much loved and will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Edgar Hodges.

Larry was employed with Piggly Wiggly Grocers Warehouse for over 32 years. He loved nothing more than spending time with his family and loved ones, especially his grandchildren who loved their “Paw-Paw” very much. He loved building model cars and mostly enjoyed NASCAR and Alabama Crimson Tide Football. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel at 2 PM with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
