Linda Sue Belcher Brown went home to her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the age of 68. Sue was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. She always put the needs of her family and church before her own. As a Pastor’s wife she served as a church leader for more than 44 years. Sue touched the lives of thousands through her church ministry and as director of the Caring Center Food Bank in Jefferson County. She had a passion and conviction for children’s ministry and served at Waterstone Church for the past 19 years. She enjoyed teaching children and her adult Sunday school class as well. As a loving grandmother of 14, her pantry was always full of snacks and treats. Sue was a longtime resident of Mt. Olive and served on the North Jefferson County Association Church and Community Ministry for 25 years. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers. A fervent shopper who could never-ever pass up a good deal, she was always bringing home surprise gifts for her children and grandchildren alike. Sue would most want everyone to know her biggest passion was her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. “Well done thy good and faithful servant, enter thou into the JOY of Thy LORD”. Matthew 25:23.
