Margaret, of Fultondale, Al went home to be with the Lord at the age of 79. Margaret was born in Tennessee and was raised in Fultondale. She was a member of the Fultondale Church of Christ and she loved the Lord and served him faithfully throughout her life.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, David and Flora Giles, her loving husband of 50 years, James W. Knight; two brothers, Freddie and Talmadge Giles. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Byrd (Gerald), one brother, Jerry Dale Giles (Carolyn); several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Services will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel with a visitation on Thursday, August 4th, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm; a funeral service on Friday, August 5th, at 1:00pm followed by her burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
