Marian was born in Birmingham, AL. She was raised in the Presbyterian church and was known as a devoted Christian woman who loved Jesus. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Marian was the eldest of 5 siblings. She loved gardening, spending time with family and friends, going to the lake, and the beach. She believed in living her life humbly.
Marian is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, James Donald Phillips; her devoted children, Jeffrey Donald Phillips (Dana Armstrong) and Julie Phillips Lacey; grandchildren, Adam Brent Campbell (Cheri), Erin Elizabeth Campbell-Scott (Eric), Jacob Daniel Phillips, great-grandchild Avery Armstrong, brother, Larry Quick (Wynonna), sister, Sylvia Young (Jimmy) and sister-in-law, Melba Quick. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Myrtle & Floyd Quick, brother, Charles Quick and sister, Sandra Quick.
A visitation for Marian will be held Thursday, April 17, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a a celebration of life service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
