Marvin was a retired Veteran of the US Air Force. He served 20 years. Marvin was also an Over the Road Truck Driver with his wife, Joyce B. Overton for 42 years.
He is survived by his daughter, Linda M. Ivy, daughter, Deborah A. Rose, daughter, Susan C. Browning (Jack Browning), Son, Marvin W. Overton, III ( Sarina Overton), Son, Roger W. Venable (Cindy Venable) and daughter, Teresa A. Parker. Also 16 Grand Children, 24 Great Grand Children and 2 Great Great Children.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, June 13th, 2025 at 3:00 PM in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, 2100 Moncrief Road, Gardendale, AL 35071.
