Michael Scott Hilsabeck “Scott”, age 44 passed away on September 22, 2015. Scott was an avid sports fan. Early he was a star high school baseball player and that started his love for sports. He was a diehard Alabama football supporter and history buff about the University. He loved children and had many friends. He was a very talented individual who loved to read and communicate with friends. He was a wonderful son who was loved by all and will be dearly missed. Scott is survived by his parents, Ron and Eleanor Bland; brother and sister, Brian Bland (Eric Nelson) and Jennifer Morris (David); his nieces, Kinsley Morris, Kyleigh Morris, and Caeden Morris; cousins, Brian Deegan, Robert Newton, Richard Newton, Renee Blackmon, and Susan Garner.
Chapel services will be held on Friday, September25th at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel at 2 PM with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
