Michael Thomas Powell Jr.

Michael Thomas Powell Jr. (age 41) passed away on Friday, July 23,2022. Michael is proceeded in death by his father, Michael Thomas Powell Sr. He is survived by his mother, Patty Johnson of Gardendale, AL, sister Lisa (Chris) Bailey of Trussville, AL, Ben (nephew), Ella Kate (niece), and Anna Bailey (niece ). Michael is survived and will be missed by a host of Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

For those that new Michael and knew him well, knows that he had great character and a larger than life personality. Michael always helped others in need and would give all he had even when he didn’t have much to give. Michael was always good at giving his friends advice and was always there to pick them up when they were down.

Michael would want to be remembered for his big heart, great personality, quick wit, and his generosity. Michael was loved by anyone that met him.

A visitation for Michael will be held Thursday, July 28, 2022 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, Alabama 35071, followed by a celebration of life at 11:00 AM.
