My Heartfelt Condolences to Mrs. Beatty's Family,
Mrs. Beatty and I worked together at ORC. I was the communications skills instructor for the blind and visually impaired. I enjoyed working with her. She was a very nice person and did a lot to help her clients. She always added something special to our Christmas pot lucks by showcasing her wonderful cooking talents with some tasty dishes all of us enjoyed.

Mildred was a sweet lady who I always enjoyed seeing and talking with we always talked about her sister Ruth Hand and her son Gerald both of who I worked with at McGraw Edison she was very sharp minded and had a great memory about the years she spent at McGraw Edison helping produce M-1 rifle barrels during World War 2, she was a christen lady of great faith and loved her home and living in Fields Town and the many friends she had, I was blessed to call her my friend, although we did not work at McGraw Edison at the same time we felt connected there, I will dearly miss her, Rest In Heavenly Peace my friend job well done in this old world. Love You

It is about 81 years of memories I have of Mildred, my second Mom. I was only 3 years old when she and G.B. moved next door to my Mom, Dad, Granny and Me. We had a wonderful relationship
as neighbors and best friends. She helped raise me and my Mom helped raise her two, Wanda and Gerald. As I look out my window today, I can still see her in my mind. However, she is now gone to a better country, the one she longed to see so often. I cherish all the good times we had together and I'm so thankful she crossed my path in this life. We will meet again. Rest in peace Mama Mid.
