Born and raised in Woodlawn, Alabama. Graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1962. As a mother of three boys she was devoted to providing for her family. She was loving, passionate, and an inspiration. She loved the color pink, flowers of all kinds, crocheting, hummingbirds, toffee ice cream bars, Christmas, lighthouses, and her family that continued to grow with 3 children, 7 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father George Norwood and her mother Mary Holcomb. She is survived by her 3 sons Dewayne Etheredge, Greg Etheredge, Ken (Stacy) Etheredge; her grandchildren, Sidney (Matt) Peterson, Hunter Etheredge, Haley (Michael) Cornelius, Victoria (Tori) Etheredge, Tyler Etheredge, Sadie (Kody) Estill; and 3 great-grandchildren, Nash Peterson, Rosaleigh Hyatt, and Aspen Etheredge.
A special song will be sung, Peace by Bethel Music, covered by Ms. Emory Joy.
Pallbearers will be: Tyler Etheredge, Johnny Crane, Matt Peterson, Hunter Etheredge, Kody Estill, and Steven Taylor.
