Robert Lewis Head was loved by Christ. God used his life in many different ways. He was a modern renaissance man that loved to use his many talents for God’s glory. He was an English teaching football coach, a violin playing wrestling coach, a guitar playing painter, a choir singing fisherman, he loved photography and loved being in the outdoors, and he was an outgoing introvert. He loved the church and was a deacon for his church body for most of his adult life. He was a loving and faithful husband for 38 years. He was an incredible father to his two boys for 37 and 31 years. He loved his friends well and had a servant heart. He loved teaching and loved his students. He loved coaching and he loved his players. He loved being Papa to his grandchildren. He graduated from the University of Alabama and loved watching Bama football games. Robert loved a lot of things in his life, but most of all he loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Because God adopted Robert as a son, those of us that are also adopted sons and daughters of God, can grieve the loss of Robert’s life here with hope to see him in eternity.
