She was one of 11 children born to John and Hazel Ezekiel. Ruby's favorite pastime was drinking Dr. Pepper and watching her TV shows. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Glass. She is survived by her children; Travis (Angie) McAlpin and Amanda (Casey) Wood. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Dylan Norris, Caylee Cox, Brayden McAlpin, Ashton Glass, Cody McAlpin, Trevor McAlpin and sisters; Vera Surrett, Liz Farley, Debra Williams and by significant other, Butch Palmer along with a host of family and friends.
A visitation for Ruby will be held Monday, January 31, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
