Sam Traweek

Sam retired from Coca-Cola Bottling Company United after 44 years of dedicated service. He was an avid Alabama football fan and his passion was spending time with his daughter and granddaughters.

Sam was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Barbara Traweek; his parents, Samuel and Mary Lou Traweek.

Sam is survived by his daughter, Susan Dofash; son, Rodney Traweek; granddaughters, Macy Dofash and Savannah Dofash; and so many friends at Coca-Cola that he considered family.

Services for Sam will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2023 with a time of visitation at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL from 11:00 AM - 11:50 AM. A graveside service will follow at Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Gardendale, AL at 12:00 Noon.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in his honor to support The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD) at www.theaftd.org.
