Sara Jane Miller

Sara Jane Miller, 90 of Gardendale, Al died June 5, 2023. Sara Miller, daughter of Marie Bolton and Willie Arthur Scalf, and loving wife of Ira G. Miller, passed away on June 5, 2023 at her home in Gardendale, AL. She is survived by her husband, Ira, three daughters Barbara (Steve) Bishop, Cathy Miller, Ira (Mike) Jones and three sons Richard Miller, Kenneth (Vicki) Miller, and Michael (Sarah) Miller. Grandchildren Zach Jones, Ashley Bright, Sara Anne Jones, Whitney Watson, Jonathan Miller, Jeremy Miller, Spencer Miller, Marlene Miller and Matthew Bishop. She is also survived by 12 Great Grandchildren. She graduated from Tarrant High School and married the love of her life Ira Miller. She was an incredible Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She prayed daily for the Lord “to provide the needs of the poor and needy.” In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the First Baptist Church of Fultondale, Al Food Pantry.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Ridout's Chapel, Gardendale, Al from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. with Graveside service to follow at Oakwood Memorial Gardens at 12:30 P.M.
