Sarah Irene Wright (Hartley), a longtime resident of Gardendale, AL passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the age of 74. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. Irene was a member of Gardendale’s Central Baptist Church where she loved and served her Lord. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Deanna Webb and a son, Jason Wright. She is survived by her loving children, Ricky Wright, Jennifer Russell, Chris Wright, and Sunshine Pearson; her grandchildren, Kristyne, Michael, Taren, Anna Faith, Zackery, Julie, Maggie Rose, and Zoe Grace; a great granddaughter, Maddie; and a host of loving extended family and friends.
Services will be held on Monday, October 23, 2017 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel at 11 am with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow in Walkers Chapel Cemetery in Fultondale, AL.
