Terry Smith

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Mildred Smith; brother, Tommy Smith.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Nancy Smith; daughters, Crystal Poe (Kenneth), Courtney Hines (Steven); grandchildren, Dylan Brewis, Everett Poe, Courtlynn, Olivia, Charlotte and Kaydence Hines; sister, Tammie Savage (Chuck).

Terry was an automotive mechanic for 50 years. he was awarded Mechanic of the Year for the Southeast Division. He enjoyed fishing at Smith Lake, working on cars along with traveling with his family. He was an avid fan of Auburn football and NASCAR. His grandkids meant the world to him and he loved his family with all his heart.

A long time member of Fultondale Church of Christ where he served as a deacon. He will be missed by all who knew him as someone who was always happy with a smile on his face. He always put others before himself.

A visitation for Terry will be held Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM.
