Tommy Ray Oliver 45 of Tarrant, Alabama died at 12:46 PM on Sunday, September 11, 2016, from a fatal motorcycle accident on 1-22 in Fultondale, Alabama, while he was participating in a tribute ride honoring 9/11 victims. Tommy was born January 16, 1971 in Birmingham, Alabama. He was a lifelong resident of Tarrant, Alabama. He was a contractor at Barrington Real Estate. Tommy was a member of Springdale Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and drove the church bus. Tommy loved riding his hog with his riding buddies. He loved tinkering with his eclectic collections of odds and ends. He loved working with his hands and taking care of his beautiful mother Etta. He is preceded in death by his grandparents J.T. and Betty Oliver and Amos and Louise Florence. He is survived by his mother, Etta Oliver of Tarrant; father Harold Oliver (Kathryn) of Trussville; sons, Brant and Joshua Oliver of Tarrant; sister, Brooke Oliver Grantham of Olive Branch, Mississippi; nephews, Keats and Cooper; granddaughters, Kamylah and Sophia Oliver; Rhonda Oliver of Calera. Along with a host of loving aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held at Springdale Baptist Church on Thursday, September 15, 2016, at 6:00 PM, Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel directing. The family request in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Springdale Baptist Church. As well as please don’t vote for Hillary Clinton.
