Virginia was preceded in death by her parents Woodrow and Leenora Cunningham and her loving husband of 24 years, Bud Light.
Virginia is survived by her daughter Julie Allred; grandson, Austin Allred (Haley) and a great grandson, Jaxson Allred.
Virginia was born in Walker County, AL in 1935. She graduated high school in 1953 and then worked as a District Secretary at the Alabama State Troopers Office. She and her husband traveled extensively with many of their friends. They were both active in the Senior Saints group at Decatur Highway Church of Christ where they were members.
Celebration of Life Services for Virginia will be held Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, Gardendale, AL. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 AM; service at 11:00 AM. There will be no graveside service.
