Scott served 7 years in the United States Air Force. He has also been a Deacon since 1959. He was a member of New Georgia Baptist Church for many years. He was an avid golfer, dancer, and loved to travel.
Scott is survived by his wife Allyne (Jenny) Roberts; children, Nancy Ann Odom(George), Marcia Sylvester(Rodney), Susan Martin(Jimmy), Beth Williams(Howard), and Thomas Roberts.
Scott was preceded in death by his late wife Nancy Roberts; brothers, Jack Payne, Charles Roberts, Jo Roberts, and Donald Roberts.
A visitation for Scott will be held Monday, July 7, 2025 at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
Scott will be laid to rest in Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens, Fultondale, AL.
